^^^ interesting sudden revive of comment I sent while ago. ^^^

I have met another hater of this film, discussed etc, led nowhere.

Would be interesting to watch with such a person, maybe annotate each bit loved/hated.

Certainly it is a divisive film!

have you seen vicky -something- barcelona? I only watched on the internet, thought it was nice.

Also watched a lot of other "late-period" W.Allen recently -- mixed, but often better than people think. I am looking forward to "whatever works"

I recommend "deconstructing harry". In that film, nr the end, "whatever works" is said by someone, and this seems to be a revealing of the underlying intent behind the "late-period".

Watching that film may help the other films "work" more sensibly.

But such a strong reaction may forever blinker you . . .

In any case, it is interesting.

The divisive quality of "match point" is shown by the tennis net, isn't it.

Hi Tokkki
Do you live in Jp? I wondered if the taxis are all like that or if only some of them have doors which close themselves.
I don't update this blog anymore, since I was too lazy...once my bf s started to keep one about Japan (see At the Hop in links sidebar) I almost never wrote about Japan, since it was only really to have as a memory for my own future. So there are only 5 random tuesdays..
